Will my appointments be virtual or in person?I offer both virtual and in-person appointments. The type of visit will depend on your specific health needs and preferences. Telemedicine visits are available Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 10am to 4pm and Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm. In-person visits are available Thursdays from 3pm to 7pm.

Do I need to complete all of my questionnaires and consent forms before my first visit?Yes, completing your health questionnaires in advance helps me better understand your needs and optimize your visit. These will be provided via email.

What’s your appointment cancellation policy?I require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a fee - $50 late cancellation policy if <24h notice given.

How do I cancel or change my appointment?You can modify or cancel your appointment by Messaging me through the clinic's patient portal or by contacting my office via email or phone. Portal messaging is the preferred method of contacting the office as it is encrypted and HIPAA-protected to safeguard your medical information.

What is your approach to prescription medication?I take a holistic approach to healthcare, prioritizing lifestyle changes, nutrition, and integrative therapies. However, I may prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Can you prescribe medication?Yes, as a licensed physician, I do prescribe medications when medically appropriate including bioidentical hormones in either troche or suppository forms.

Can I get a prescription through an online video visit?Yes, once you are an established patient, I can issue prescriptions during a virtual visit. Some medications may require an in-person evaluation.

How can I purchase supplements and vitamins?You can purchase high-quality supplements and vitamins through FullScript.com. When indicated, you will receive supplement recommendations as a part of your treatment plan. They will be linked to your FullScript.com client portal. Purchased products will be shipped directly to your address on file. FullScript offers over 375 professional-grade supplement brands.

How do I get Functional Lab work done?I will order the necessary lab work based on your health concerns. Specialty test kits and cash-pay Quest blood work will be ordered through either RupaHealth.com or FullScript.com. Purchased products will be shipped directly to your address on file, and they will assist in locating and scheduling blood draws. Privately insured patients can also choose to use insurance-billed Quest or LabCorp for standard blood work.

Does insurance cover the cost of blood work?Patients can choose to bill their insurance for Quest and LabCorp for standard blood work. However, FullScript.com and RupaHealth.com are cash-based platforms and do not bill insurance directly. Medicare will not cover them either. I recommend checking with your provider to understand your benefits as reimbursement coverage varies by insurance plan.
